Glastonbury Exhibition

I thought I would take some time out today, and have a break from my latest commission (cant say too much about this one at present, but will post soon) and having finished all my Uni assessments except one that is not due in until after the reading week (half term). We (being me and husband Kev) decided to visit Glastonbury as I wanted to see the art exhibition by three local artists, "Diversity" was a wonderful collection of Pastel, Paint and coloured pencil pieces, I met Pauline and Diana two of the artists and had an enjoyable chat and watched them at work. Well worth a visit at the Glastonbury Galleries if anyone is in the area.

Glastonbury is just too far for us. I would love to have gone - I 'know' Bev and Pauline from the UKCPS.

Hi Sue,
as you probably remember CP's are not really my forte, but I did use them for the Secret World commission, and I have loved looking at Pauline and Bev's work on the internet, so it was a bonus to able to go and see it in real life, and also Diana's which was new to me. Glastonbury is only half an hour or so from us, and we had a really nice lunch there as well ;-) so all in all a really good outing and a bit of a break after all my University stuff, has been quite hectic for the last few weeks.

Lol, Hi KAy
We dont seem to go to Glastonbury now as often as we used to when the children were at home, the girls in particular loved it and it was one of my favorite places. I did go a couple of years ago when I was working on my tree project looking for Gog and Magog (two ancient Oaks) and we climbed the Tor earlier this year, but have to admit the visits have got fewer recently, so today made a nice change.
